Study on the Synthesis of 2,2-bis-(p-Hydroxy Phenyl)-Propane

Abstract

|
2, 2-biS-(p-Hydroxy phenyl)-propane can be synthesized condensation of acetone and phenol in the presence of sulfuric acid as a condensing agent.
By they reaction (namely, Baeyer reaction), the difference of yield are followed by ´concentration and sort of condensing agent or reaction time, reaction temperature etc.
Tn thiS experiment, it will be purposed that compared with the ´ yield according to sulfuric acid in various concentrations.
